Much of the work involves referral - to job centres, colleges and training providers.Partnership with South West London Probation ServiceThrough our partnership with South West London Probation Service, ex-offenders are referred for an interview with a New Bridge Employment Adviser. During 2022 , 54% of our clients were found a job or a training or educational placement. Pre-release Job and Training InterviewsThe purpose of this project is to conduct interviews in prison with offenders due to be released in the next month or so. Sixteen prisons participated during 2022 and a total of 292 visits to prisons were made by Employment Advisers. Of the 1,367 inmates interviewed, 867 had job interviews arranged at their local job centre as well as receiving advice and guidance on job and training opportunities. The prisons participating are:
